My stay at The Parklands Hotel was a mixed bag. The beautiful gardens and a great location near the park were definite highlights, but the overall experience felt overpriced for what I received. The breakfast options were limited and didn’t seem worth the extra cost. While my room was clean, it lacked some of those little touches that make a hotel special.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean, despite being a bit cramped and with a cold radiator. The bathroom was spacious, which was nice, but the bed placement made it tricky to work at the desk.
Service

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when it came to ordering a taxi for me. However, I felt some clarity around the meal services could have been better.
Location

The location was convenient, just a short walk to the city center and overlooking a lovely park, which was a nice escape from the hustle.
Dining

I chose not to have the breakfast due to the high price, since there were more affordable options nearby. My meal experience seemed mediocre, and it didn’t match the expectations given the cost.
Facilities

Facilities like room service and housekeeping were adequate, but I missed some thoughtful amenities like a welcome drink or a simple chocolate on the pillow.

The dining experience was also a highlight, with a tasty breakfast and dinner options that catered to my tastes. However, I noticed that the room could have used a bit more attention in terms of cleanliness, especially with the net curtains and windows needing a wash.
